This mixer is well built and works very well as the foundation for our home studio. The Onyx preamps are very clean and the integrated 8×2 firewire interface offers great flexibility when configuring the mixer for recording.
My unit also came with a basic bundle license for Mackie’s Traction3 DAW software. This mixer, along with Traction3 make a very capable recording setup.
